Message: Systems modelling has potential to assist global decision-makers to make proactive economic, social, public health, and health system investments to arrest the COVID pandemic’s impacts on mental health. This paper led to the announcement of systems modelling as No. 2 in the WEF’s Top 10 Innovations in Mental Health in 2021, which was published in Scientific American.
